Andrew Sexton, along with two friends, went snowmobiling one Saturday morning in 2006. They were travelling from their homes in St. Anthony to a cabin in the Goose Cove area, but their trip was cut short when an incoming storm forced them to return home. As each friend took their snowmobile and drove off, the storm took hold. In its midst, Andrew was suddenly out of sight of his friends. While two made it home to St. Anthony by noon that day, 11 years later Andrew has yet to reappear in the community. His snowmobile was found in working condition, with a gas tank half full, keys in the ignition, but not pointed towards home.
